Scott Bartholomew is currently the Simulation Clinical Coordinator for Colorado’s Work, Education & Lifelong Learning Simulation (WELLS) Center. He has been a nurse educator at Denver Health Medical Center, where he redesigned the nursing orientation program and served as ACLS Course Director. He has also worked in nursing education at St. Anthony Hospitals, once again helping to restructure the nursing orientation program and serving as BLS coordinator and nursing student placement coordinator.

Scott completed his BS in nursing from South Dakota State University in 1992 and began a 9-year career with Indian Health Service in South Dakota and Oklahoma before moving to Denver, CO in 2002. His primary nursing background is critical care. He received a MS degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development from SDSU in 1990 and a BS in journalism from SDSU in 1988. Scott brings a theatre background to his work in simulation, and he was awarded the “Excellence in Caring Award” from St. Anthony Hospitals in 2007.
