The WELLS Center offers the following healthcare related services:

Specialty Courses
The WELLS Center offers Specialty Courses to meet the demand of healthcare facilities interested in simulation training for both new graduates and experienced nursing professionals. Currently WELLS Center offers a Critical Care Nursing Course and will pilot a PeriOperative Course Summer 2009.

On-site/Off-Site Simulation Events
The WELLS Center offers simulation opportunities to the entire healthcare community through fee-for-service events at the WELLS Center or at your worksite. These custom designed events allow the healthcare educator an opportunity to design and develop specific training outcomes. Educators are encouraged to attend the Scenario and Facilitation Workshops.

Classroom Space
Our classroom holds up to 70 people. We offer state of the art conferencing ability, wireless network, e-Beam, web casting and recording. Accessible parking is offered to our participants free of charge.

Facilitation/Coaching Workshops
This multidisciplinary workshop is designed to provide the novice simulation facilitator with the skills necessary to facilitate healthcare simulation events, and to provide the experienced facilitator with advanced competence. The multidisciplinary faculty consists of experienced simulation experts from Nursing, EMS and Medicine.

Scenario Development Writing Courses
This one day interactive workshop is designed to offer skills to develop and write a clinical simulation scenario.

Technical Consulting
We provide individual consulting for organizations that are building a simulation laboratory or designing a specialized center. Our technical consultants will work with organizations who have high fidelity mannequins, and desire added training.

Tours
Complementary tours of the WELLS Center are offered twice a month by appointment only. Tours for individuals or groups of up to 50 people can be arranged by contacting the WELLS Center. Available 2009 tour dates: July 7 & 22, August 3 & 26, September 8 & 23, October 14 & 27, November 12 & 24, December 10.
